Better Life launches SieMatic S2 kitchen at Gourmet Abu Dhabi

UAE-based kitchen supplier Better Life Appliances and Accessories has launched SieMatic S2, a new class of handleless kitchens by SieMatic, at Gourmet Abu Dhabi.

SieMatic S2 is a new class of handleless kitchens created by German manufacturers of high-end fitted kitchens SieMatic. SieMatic is the original inventors of the handleless kitchen range SieMatic. SieMatic S2 is a logical continuation of the SieMatic S1 kitchen design.

Better Life has used Gourmet Abu Dhabi as a platform to launch SieMatic S2 kitchen to the Middle East market. Gourmet Abu Dhabi is an annual culinary event held from February 5-19, 2010 in Abu Dhabi.

Personality and uniqueness as well as interplay of counterpoint and deviations from conventional design dictates, characterize the design philosophy of the SieMatic S2.

Some of the functional elements of the SieMatic S1 included in the SieMatic S2, are the multi-media elements, the vertical recessed grip and the drawer system. The linear, cubical design continues the tradition that began in 1960 with the minimalist, handleless SieMatic 6006. The SieMatic S2 combines that horizontal emphasis with the vertical elements that are the dominant characteristics of the SieMatic S1. New colors and finishes, as well as combinations of premium materials such as lacquer, glass, stone, and wood accessorize the SieMatic S2 kitchens as do the strong tone-in-tone design accents.

The tall cabinet with an integrated TV screen that can be pulled forward and aligned individually and the multi-media system take up typical functional elements of the SieMatic S1. The new interior furnishing system of light oak is also based on the SieMatic S1. The kitchen features stackable storage containers and wooden boxes for optimal utilization of storage space. These utilitarian yet decorative kitchen helpers are supplemented by porcelain lids that can be labeled individually and by glass inserts for the spice jar lids.

SieMatic is known for creating kitchens, which are designed as a hub of entertainment, integrating state-of-the-art technologies.
