Ansaldo and GB partner to establish boiler manufacturing unit in India
8 July 2010Ansaldo, a boiler manufacturer in Italy, in collaboration with India-based boiler manufacturer GB Engineering Enterprises (GB) will establish a manufacturing unit at Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu in India for INR1000 million ($21 million).
The new facility, to be set up by Ansaldo GB Manufacturing Company in which the two partners will have equal stake, will manufacture pressure parts for the boiler industry. The facility will have a capacity of 7,000 tons or equivalent for super critical equipment and is likely to cater to Ansaldo, which provide services to the companies such as NTPC, NLC and other power majors.
Ansaldo Boilers specializes in the design, manufacture and supply of Utility Boilers, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, and Biomass & Waste to Energy Boilers.
